Do people actually pay $415 per month for a cell phone plan? - freeradical - 10-17-2014 Just wondering. This is an option with AT&T for the new iPhone. The cheapest plan is $60/month and you get a whopping 300 MB of data. How quickly can you blow through that much data? Re: Do people actually pay $415 per month for a cell phone plan? - NewtonMP2100 - 10-17-2014 yes, and my first born..... Re: Do people actually pay $415 per month for a cell phone plan? - Black - 10-17-2014 I can make 300 MB last a month, easily. Did you ever get your return labels from Comcast? I didn't. Also some goofy charges from a bumbling chat support rep that I was promised were removed, but weren't. If I hadn't just bought that modem it would be an excellent time to try ATT again. My advice re: Comcast for the past few years has been that it's fine as long as you don't need anything from them. Nothing's changed.... Re: Do people actually pay $415 per month for a cell phone plan? - testcase - 10-17-2014 I'm grandfathered in (Cingular>ATT) with Unlimited Data, 450 Anytime Minutes (which rollover for 12 months), 5000 Night & Weekend Minutes and NO texts for about $65/month (including taxes, after employer discount). I've NEVER even come close to using 450 minutes in a month but, regularly go over 20GB of data. The ONLY reason I've stayed with ATT is because of my Unlimited Data. If ATT ever cancels my Unlimited Data, I'll drop them. Back in January, I ported my copper Verizon landline of 30+ years ![]() Re: Do people actually pay $415 per month for a cell phone plan? - TLB - 10-17-2014 Not for a single phone, even now that we have the whole family on iphones, it is less than that but a lot more than I like paying. Re: Do people actually pay $415 per month for a cell phone plan? - raz - 10-17-2014 We're just shy of $200/month for 5 lines and unlimited talk, text, and data on T-Mobile. That'll drop in 2 months when my iPhone 5 is paid off. And drop again as the other phones are paid off. $400 is insane. Re: Do people actually pay $415 per month for a cell phone plan? - silvarios - 10-17-2014 No. $129 and change for four smartphones. That includes all taxes and fees. If I have to get a phone, the bill will go up a bit (or I will pay out of pocket like normal). Got a free router as well. Loving T-Mobile. Re: Do people actually pay $415 per month for a cell phone plan? - Buck - 10-17-2014 I pay a little more that that. Verizon - North American Plan - 10 devices. |
