I think Apple is in the final stages of determining if it is worthwhile continuing to develop new versions of OS X and sell computers. You people need to buy more computers! (they gave up on people like me years ago)

What I've been noticing is computers are becoming more complementary to phones a tablets, whereas just a few years ago the opposite was true.

Macs aren't going anywhere anytime soon, but their development may continue to slow as more resources are put into mobile development.

For now, I'm stuck on Lion, that'd be 10.4 (?).

Lion would be 10.7; 10.4 was Tiger
