Is SMS Relay a part of Handoff? - pinkoos - 10-20-2014
So I know I'm not going to get many of the Handoff features b/c my Mac (mini mid 2011) is not supported, but is SMS Relay one of them?
I'm not home, so won't be able to try until this evening, but somehow I thought that SMS Relay does not require the same specs that Apple has listed for other Handoff features.
Am I wrong (and out of luck, again)?

SMS is listed separately from Handoff here. The only listed requirement is an iOS device with 8.1.

What's Relay? Didn't see it listed as a feature on the Yosemite page.

Thanks. Yeah, I saw that link before and noted that it was listed separately, but I just read something online (can't find the link even though I just read it!), that has me kinda worried that I may be out of luck yet again.
