tracking down 866 number - ka jowct - 08-19-2006 How? I'd like to figure out what company left a message in the form of a recorded message on my answering machine. First part of message was cut off because the "caller" began yammering during the outgoing message. I'd prefer not to call the number. Pretty sure it's a scam or sales pitch of some sort. Are there any free reverse lookup sources/services aside from the obvious ones that come up in a Google search? If it is bogus or one of those scams, the phone company will probably block the call before it goes through.
