Mistake In Ebay Description? - punkindrublik - 08-20-2006 I've got a buddy that needs applecare for his G5 iMac. He's got less than a month to go. I found this auction on Ebay. It's not a bad price but in the description this guy has "For Any Model iMac Still Under Original 90 Day Warranty". I believe it's just an error by the seller on the 90 days. Can anyone confirm? He's got the original new price as $299 so I know that's wrong. Thanks! http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Apple-Mac-AppleCare-3-Year-Protection-ANY-iMac_W0QQitemZ200018937455QQihZ010QQcategoryZ171QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Re: Mistake In Ebay Description? - JoeH - 08-20-2006 Juat another guy who has confused the 90 day phone support with the 1 year warranty. Applecare extends both to 3 years as long as purchased and registered before the 1 year warranty runs out. Only advantage of buying it before the 90 days is to have continuous phone support during the first year. Re: Mistake In Ebay Description? - punkindrublik - 08-20-2006 That's what I figured. Thanks JoeH! |
