Peet's Coffee deal - Michael - 12-01-2014

Peet's Coffee was running a 20% off gifts deal for Black Friday that was supposed to end Friday. Today and tomorrow they are running free shipping. We always send a couple of friends Peet's Coffee for Christmas and I ordered tonight, anticipating the free shipping. But, it also took off 20% off the Holiday Grand Sampler gift. I can't find anything that was showed the 20% deal on gifts being extended and maybe they'll take it away, but I did get a receipt showing the 20% off and no shipping charges. It's pretty good coffee. YMMV.

I prefer Tweek's coffee.

I like Peet's Sumatra blend, which I get at Stop and Shop. But they are often out of it.

How long will ground coffee in the sealed bags keep?

Well, Peet's wants you to buy in in beans and reorder every week for the freshest coffee. But, I'm not that much of a connoisseur and I buy them ground and freeze them. I go through an order about every 6 months and I'm satisfied.
