LG purchased WebOS from HP a while ago and they've put it in a Smartwatch.

Yes, if you've watched any videos from CES in Vegas. You would have seen they are at WebOS 2.0

No videos, but read some articles about it. Been following the LG WebOS TVs since their original launch. Seem interesting, but don't need another HDTV right now.

Cnet confirmed that LG 2014 HDTV sets will not get the 2.0 update. They are expanding their OLED line of HDTVs and of course updating WebOS to 2.0
I will be getting a new set in 2016. Just gave grandpa our room 40in LCD Tv.
