Last night's Walking Dead - Black - 03-02-2015 WTF-- a really really good episode. Was there a guest director? Better than usual vehicle for the actors to show some acting chops..... looks like the kid who plays Carl can actually act for one. I have no doubt they all live happily ever after now... Re: Last night's Walking Dead - 3d - 03-02-2015 I was hoping to see a BBQ/grill in the background of one of the scene,, they're CANNIBALS!! I wonder if that sneaky goth girl was part of a group when they let her in recently. Maybe she has ties to those 3 who got exiled. It didn't seem like she scaled the wall to go for a relaxing walk. The ROTC duoche was a bit over-acted. Cardigan Carol did some good acting playing "possum" ![]() Re: Last night's Walking Dead - N-OS X-tasy! - 03-02-2015 Easy to tell which posters to TWD threads have read the comic series and which haven't. Most of the time the narrative is so brain-dead, I can't imagine I could stay interetested if I already knew the overall story arc. I have to give you credit for being able to shut your brain off that much. A couple other observations: 1) Whacky-ironic that the guy who's all about art galleries IRL is the one having the hardest time slipping back into "polite society" mode 2) What's up with the casting? Was a pool of ex-Book of Mormon actors conveniently available when this episode was being filmed? Re: Last night's Walking Dead - 3d - 03-02-2015 Re: knowing too much Last episode Aaron had eavsdropping gadgets in his backpack or something. And the congresswoman DOES have a knack for recording stuff all the time, you know for "transparency" and all. So yeah, she seems to know alot about them. But maybe it's just her professed professional poker playing reading skills in action(?) Re: art gallery guy Completely over my head. It was late. I must've missed that scene. Re: casting Come on, it's one episode. Maybe there will be more diversity in the coming episodes. But so far, i agree it's looking kinda monotone. While there are similarities between the comic book and TV show arcs, there are also differences (for example, Daryl Dixon does not exist in the comic books). The differences are part of what make watching the TV show worthwhile. If you feel the show is so brain-dead, why do you watch? (Oh, and by the way, Princess, my previous post wasn't necessarily directed specifically at you.) Re: Last night's Walking Dead - particleman - 03-03-2015 Was the person Carl saw briefly in the window at the beginning the girl he followed over the wall? I wonder if they ever dreamed when they were starting this show that there would be a love interest for Carl down the road. |
