inside tesla plant - Fritz - 03-28-2015 I can't recall this being posted here, but if it has, forgive my repeat, even if its me reposting. https://www.youtube.com/embed/8_lfxPI5ObM?rel=0 Re: inside tesla plant - Onamuji - 03-28-2015 I thought this was gonna be about the progress on the new crowdfunded Tesla museum on Long Island. Re: inside tesla plant - Paul F. - 03-28-2015 Very cool! Re: inside tesla plant - Fritz - 03-28-2015 Tesla museum is right near by me, when it happens. Not far from the Shoreham debacle. Re: inside tesla plant - bfd - 03-28-2015 Will be visiting the Fremont "Experience" this summer… perhaps by then, with V.7.0, the car can even drive itself over there… Re: inside tesla plant - space-time - 03-28-2015 Another kind of Tesla Plant http://www.teslasociety.com/exhibition.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TPP_Nikola_Tesla Re: inside tesla plant - Bimwad - 03-28-2015 As impressive as that looks, they're using a fraction of the space that GM and Toyota did in days past. Re: inside tesla plant - Ombligo - 03-28-2015 I wish my father could have seen it. He worked the chevy line in the 1930's and 40's before switching to tool & die at Buick. The robotics are truly impressive. Tron! - RAMd®d - 03-28-2015 That's the first thing I thought. Seeing all the robotics is both amazing and a little sad. My dad being a 30+ year Chevy and then NUMMI employee, was not a fan of the assembly line going robotic. He would have been impressed by this tech, and while understanding the benefits, still not be happy about any jobs lost to it. Re: Tron! - RAMd®d - 03-28-2015 Great video, by the way, Fritz. Thanks! |
