I got one a few weeks ago and popped it into a Mercury Elite case. It's not whisper-quiet but it certainly supplies some breathing room. I am not tempted by any Seagate externals. Or other brand-name externals from the drive manufacturers. I don't want a drive that has to be reformatted if it is removed from its enclosure. Or can't function at all outside of the case in which it ships. |
