I wonder how that SSD's performance compares to the Sammie EVO we got.
That was a 500G for $160.
Mine is in an Inateck enclosure with the 10.11 beta. (I may wipe it and split it for the Public Beta and the Dev Beta.)
The Crucial would be $180 + tax for me.

Performance is prob nearly identical. Both drives are mid level drives.

It's a midlevel. Like a jet airliner is only 20-50 times faster than a school bus! If you don't have an SSD, get one!

it's like a small Jet. One that holds 5 people while the school bus holds 50 people.

When the school bus crashes there are usually survivors and some of the time it can be rebuilt and put back on the road.... when the jet crashes there's only rubble.
The school bus needs an overhaul every few trips but the jet is relatively maintenance free... etc.
