Prime: 3-5 days - space-time - 07-30-2015

I got used to Amazon delivering items in 2 days after I CLICK the Buy button, I got deliveries on Saturday and Sundays for the past year. But now they show me 3-5 days for some PRIME items

Is it in stock now? If not, that might account for the discrepancy.

The party's over.

Re: Prime: 3-5 days - Acer - 07-30-2015

I had the 3-5 day thing show up on something that was only allowed to be shipped by ground (a large battery). It arrived in two days anyway.

Why don't you just go down to the local liquor store?

At least a decade of people having problems with Amazon Prime. http://www.coyoteblog.com/coyote_blog/2005/11/problems_with_a.html I think the odds are that a company which ships something like 20 million packages a day is going to have things go wrong with at least 1% of them, which would mean 200,000 packages a day have something go wrong. Personally, I've had stellar service with Prime, including getting a package last Sunday (2 day delivery) which included an item I said could take as long as they wanted so I got a $5 Pantry credit for no reason since it showed up in two days anyhow.

PS: out of curiosity, does the item fall into one of the categories which shippers insist be sent by ground?

Yeah, that's mostly been my experience. Assuming the product is in stock and everything. If there has been a problem, Amazon has always made right.

2 day shipping is limited to Euclidian space.
sorry

For this item can you pay extra for faster delivery? What is the fastest that they offer?

Re: Prime: 3-5 days - ztirffritz - 07-30-2015

They always offer me the no-rush option. That nets me a music credit or a $5 credit in the Amazon Pantry.
