Did you get a letter from the City of Chicago regarding garbage ordinance changes?
You probably did..curious who you're gonna use for private garbage containers and pickup..
Don't forget..on top of their container and pickup fee--City of Chicago Permit fee $5 per container--Environmental Fee ??

I know my Alderman..he's a caulk.
The most useless, non-responsive office ever in the history of my ward. I haven't received one follow-up on any issue I've brought into his office..
Ironically, the most corrupt Alderman we ever had, some years ago, was THE most responsive action oriented guy..Whenever my Wife and or I would visit with a request..his staff was all over it. Go figure.

It should only affect you if you have a building with more than 4 units that has been "cheating" until now.

I don't know what you're facing but here in sunny Selectmen run Merrimac we pay $3 for a 20 gallon trash bag. Last year it was $1.50 for a 40/50 gallon trash can but they voted in a closed session to bend us over with no notice. I don't know how politicians avoid assassination... Hey, I just noticed that ass appears twice in assassination and the word Politician in the same sentence was a bonus!!

I've wondered if private trash haulers make sense. plenty of trouble with them here in nyc.
