Do you like the Spotlight search in iOS 9? - particleman - 09-21-2015

I do not. The Search function does not appear to be capable of locating apps based on context or creator. It only searches by name. For example, in iOS 8, I could enter ESPN and all the apps created by ESPN would show up. Now, unless "ESPN" in the app name, the app does not show up.

I also don't like all of the suggestion provided. I do not need suggestion for web videos or Bing search.

I cannot find any way to configure it besides turning Siri's suggestions off.

Has anyone had a better experience?

I haven't played with it all that much, but I'm exceedingly curious whether the two places you can search now (swipe down from the top or swipe right from the left edge) are any different in the results they give.

Not sure how pervasive your problem is. I search for Vonage and it finds the Extensions app, just as in iOS 8.

I open up a window and search from there. This new deal is always kinda vague with it's results.
