This also happens in the area where I grew up in Wisconsin. You can't fix stupid. And then other people have to put themselves at risk to try to rescue the bonehead who drove out onto the ice.

Jeep Wrangler guy and Range Rover guy both got stuck in our parking lot. It was kind of fun to watch. To be fair. During the big snow, almost everyone got stuck in our parking lot.

Growing up we had a lake across the street and one of the neighbors would whip around on the lake having a grand old time in his Morris Mini.
