I've gotten email from B&H and Tekserve about sale prices on various Macs. Makes you wonder if something new us on the way.

B&H has just kicked off spamming their customers, so expect to see this kinda thing often.

But they have also just started free 3day UPS (or was it 2-day) for orders above $49 (and who spends LESS at that site?)

I opted in to email offers from them years ago. Are they now just emailing all customers regardless?

They have been offering free shipping for orders over $49 for a while, but perhaps it was UPS Ground. I always get that. For me, it ends up being 2 days, usually.

I place 10-12 orders a year and have never been spammed by them until this week. When I clicked on the 'unsubscribe' link and unsubscribed, it was indicated that the subscription started march 7 and ended march 8.

They're obviously trying to off Apple product before Apple or they are drummed out of business.

I wonder if there will be a new Mac product at the Apple event.

Skynet Skylake is expected later this year. New Macs at the event would be too early, wouldn't they, unless they were just being announced at a date TBA.

I think the event timing would be just right for a 4K Retina display.
