General Mills has announced it will begin labeling genetically modified ingredients on its packaging following the failure of a national solution for labeling GMOs, the company announced.
Okay, so some ingredients have been genetically modified...

Please keep in mind that 'organic' does not equate to 'sustainable', that 'GMO' does not equal 'unsafe', and that politics, and not science, is the main driving force for these discussions.
I do not consider the lack of science to mean we should not have these conversations!
Public perception = political reality.
General Mills is not being a pro or anti GMO company with this statement.

Exactly. You can have organic dog poo, but its still dog poo.
What is goofy, is that wineries that went organic have experienced higher crop yields at lower prices, so..... why is organic more expensive?
