One chick has hatched and the other is working on it (small hole in shell so far)

Seriously cool....

I was watching that earlier.
Both parents were in the nest and one was scarfing down that fish.

All the good stuff keeps happening when I'm not looking. Sad

Just got the see all four eagles in the nest, and da babies were getting fed.

Mom seemed to be trying to make sure that both chicks got some of that tasty fresh fish that Dad just brought home.

Could have been dad feeding and mom bringing home the fish, as I have no idea which of the parents is which. lol

Big Grin

Why is it in black and white now?

Because it is dark outside now.
I found out about it switching to B&W at night, when I watched the baby owl cam last year. Big Grin

Infrared nite light? The quality of the light has the look of IR.

The one last year switched over to a type of night vision thing, I think, but I don't know how this one us set up.
It does have a sort of reddish quality to the picture that I didn't notice last year.
Last year the birds eyes had that white glow look, like you see with night vision videos.

He or she showed up earlier with a fish.
One is usually on the nest and the other is presumably close by.
I think they swap out sitting for hunting and vice versa.
