Home made "Play Dough" - freeradical - 04-28-2016 The interwebs seem to be chock full of recipes for this. Does anyone have a good recipe, or link for one, that they've actually tried and liked? FWIW, I'm not going to be coloring it. I'm going to be using it as a tool. Re: Home made "Play Dough" - ztirffritz - 04-28-2016 This is the one that I use http://mommyfootprint.com/the-perfect-home-made-play-dough-recipe/ Works very well. You might also enjoy making plastic out of milk. You can add vinegar or lemon juice to milk and a rubbery plastic substance will precipitate out of the liquid. This rubbery plastic can be molded or formed into any shape. When it dries it is about the consistency of bone. http://chemistry.about.com/cs/howtos/ht/dairyplastic.htm Re: Home made "Play Dough" - The UnDoug - 04-28-2016 My daughter made "oobleck" a few nights ago. It's a "non-Newtonian" liquid. Touched gently, your fingers push right in, but punch it, and it reacts more like solid. It's nothing but water and cornstarch.
