AAA flashlight deal - davemchine - 04-29-2016 I saw this on slick deals and it seems like a good deal. https://www.foursevens.com/products/CP1-AE http://slickdeals.net/f/8705047-foursevens-preon-p1-aaa-flashlight-20-more?p=84404127&utm_source=dealalerts&utm_medium=em-i&utm_term=1446&utm_content=u1035965&utm_campaign=tu-9999&src=da_si_v2_ni_16267552 "Foursevens Preon P1 AAA Flashlight $20 & More Re: AAA flashlight deal - Robert M - 04-29-2016 Dave, For $10 more you can get the P2 which is more than twice as bright. 'course, it uses 2 AAA batteries and is longer. Funny, though, it has the same emitter. Robert Re: AAA flashlight deal - jonny - 04-29-2016 Then there's these... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-Tactical-3W-Super-Bright-LED-lamp-AA-Flashlight-Focus-Torch-Light-Penlight-/141971109402?var=&hash=item210e23361a:m:msqDCMxgrguQj0ipMgzHp3Q Just got a couple in the mail. AA. Not suuuuper bright, but dang they're cheap! Re: AAA flashlight deal - RAMd®d - 04-29-2016 Maybe that light's a great light and a good deal. But if I'm going for a single cell light, I'd go AA, typically more light and/or longer run time. I normally keep an 1xAA Fenix on me, but lately I've kept a 2xAAA and 2xAA in a jacket pocket, and they've been very handy and much, much brighter. I've no experience with AAAx1 lights, but going by my Fenix, I'd probably want a better deal. Re: AAA flashlight deal - michaelb - 04-30-2016 47s and the preons have long been on my want list, but I don't need any more flashlights, particularly not any more AAAs, which I seem to covet and collect. If that had a tail clicky, or if the 2 AAA option was on sale (but don't link to it if it is), I would be in for one. RAM, Foursevens and the preon lights were state of the art and original designs, and were then ripped off and copied by other Chinese knockoff brands, including their own OEM suppliers. So a very good classic brand for a light and well worth owning for $20. |
