It's not just Trump, a candidate who knows how to play the media, it's us. More importantly, it's TV, a media more people get news from than any other source.
The folks that read this forum may be the exception and probably have been for some time but most people don't commit any time to issues, ideas or political goals. They're too occupied with day care, school schedules, job security or other important stuff. For reasons I've yet to fathom, many posters here don't seem to need to occupy themselves with mundane day to day issues and devote an inordinate amount of time to that circular firing squad we all laugh about.
I really have no problem with the circular structure so long as I'm opposite max or barnaclebill and my 2nd Amendment sidearm is well oiled and available, but really when you think about it what we say here has as much effect on anything as that butterfly in Caladonia or Curacao or Compton.

Not if you go out and say it to other people who are going to vote out these fools in November. Maybe even find a campaign to work on.
