I am not finding it difficult to imagine that Manafort approached Trump and promised him the moon. And that Trump didn't spend 2 minutes checking his background. That Manafort could calmly go on TV and completely refute Melana's plagiarized speech --- a simple thing to own up to --- was quite telling.

What happens if before or after Clinton is Prez charges are brought against her? You can prosecute a prez? Does it disqualify if you are just a nominee? Oh, God…we can't get Trump by default. Say it isn't so,Joe.

Wait - how did we get from Trump's campaign manager possibly receiving millions off the books from the Ukrainians... to charges against Clinton?

Anyway, while I have no love of Trump, I'm inclined to let the dust settle on this one before reaching conclusions. I remember the documents they "found" in Iraq showing a bunch of Western anti-war politicians supposedly getting huge cash payments from Saddam Hussain, and that never came to anything (ie, was just more of the BS that was peddled during the Iraq war). So I'm inherently suspicious of Ukrainian ledgers showing payments of millions.
If there's something there, there will be some corroboration.

Sure, look at VP Agnew. And Pres. Nixon was in line to be prosecuted by the House and convicted by the Senate until he resigned.

A Republican controlled Senate is 100% guaranteed to attempt to impeach a President Clinton. They've done it before. It will be a complete waste of time. If the economy continues to improve, and the war against ISIL continues to improve, and nothing else goes kaflooie, she may be the second 2 term Clinton.
Because the whole email and Benghazi thing are nothing more than focused political attacks on her, and Have. Not. Worked.
Disclaimer: I have a historic dislike for Mrs. Clinton the political figure. But I dislike lying to myself even more.
