Ya. Greenpeace gets a lot of respect from me. Oh I wish they would go away.

E-waste is long out of control. All companies including Apple are deficient in it's recycling, disposal and toxicity. Much of it is shipped off to Africa. Apple's "take-back" program is a good step in the right direction, but it needs to stop lobbying against other's recycling legistlations and take-back programs.

I like greenpeace, but I think they target Apple unfairly.

Check the photo in the original link - There's a whole lot of PeeCee keyboards behind that little girl, why aren't they lambasting all the PC makers as well?!

"We've seen children waist-deep in cables, keyboards and circuit boards picking through a soup of hazardous chemicals, including lead and mercury, to find components or bits of metal they can sell."

It sounds like those folks on the Low End Mac list
