Got some interesting mpgs (not porn, this time...) that refuse to open with Quicktime, and VLC, and MPlayer.
Looking for suggestions for software that might be able to open them (and preferably convert them to something I can share with others... like quicktime files...).
For reference, the files I'm trying to open are at http://www.accuratereloading.com/videos.html
(particularly folks trying to shoot the .577 T-Rex rifle, and remain standing...).

I can't get a single one of those movies to download to test - I keep getting a download error.

Odd... downloading 'em is the part I haven't had any trouble with!
I did try that MPLayer (but now you've edited your post, so I'm guessing you read that part ;-)

My Dell recognizes them as movies, but Windows Media Player says: Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the Player does not support the format you are trying to play.

They are not MPG files. Try changing the extension to HTML and see what happens. They look like random HTML files renamed to MPG.

Hmm, maybe the links are wrong? I fiddled with the URL to download http://www.accuratereloading.com/humor/buf4.mpg and it wanted me to enter an user name and password.
