iTunes Essentials: does a purchase create a playlist? - Zoidberg - 10-04-2006
I've happened across a few iTunes essentials lists that I like, and bought a few tunes here and there off of them. If I buy the whole set, are the songs scattered within my iTunes library, or is a playlist created (e.g., "iTunes Essentials: Great Horn Section Funk" or something like that) and populated by my new purchases?
(I got gifted an album from my wife not too long ago, and I wound up with a playlist called "gift from Cynthia" that I didn't create on my own. Just wondering if the same thing applied to whole iTunes Essentials list purchases.)

Can't say that I know the answer to your question, but you could certainly create or delete any playlist that you want, and put the songs that you download into any other new playlist(s) as you saw fit.
