tough question..... only $100 more, 33% for Twice the Storage... but... if 30GBs is enough to cover what you want to have on the go, why not save that $100?
On one hand - could be kicking yourself for not going 60GB...
On the other - that $100 could go to some other gift(s) or with interest towards whatever Apple's latest is a year from now.

Depends on the recipient, I guess. If you're buying me an iPod, it'd better be the 60GB as my 3G 30GB is chronically full.

I've already done most of my shopping, read that "spent most of my money", so I doubt there will be any big Apple products under my tree, unfortunately.

iPod Nano under the tree for my wife, complete with armband so she can use it at the club.
Then I snagged a .mac account for my mom. Was tempted by the apple socks I saw at their store but passed.
