FYI ios 10.2 is still being signed, but won't be much longer. Jailbreak and save your blobs now. All 64 bit devices can be done now. I'm jail breaking my 5s as we speak...

may I ask how, may I ask Why? sure, I understand you get to install other Apps not approved by Apple, but how many critical Apps are out there that do not have en equivalent in the official App store? I think also this may allow backdoors for spyware/trojans, since Apple does not check the Apps you install from Cydia and other sources.

Tethering for my grandfathered in verizon unlimited. Kodi support without hassles. Lots of little tweaks. The ability to block future update. Added resale value on the phone.

I still miss the old application switcher, with the icons on the bottom of the screen, instead of the "cover flow" we have now. The JB app that brought that back and tethering were my last reasons to jailbreak. But I rarely used the tethering, so it eventually wasn't worth the hassle to JB.

Thank you thank you thank you. Wish I'd saved my blobs, but at least my phone was still on 10.2 so I was able to jb. Woohoo!

Excellent! There likely won't be another jailbreak for a long while, and the signing window is now closed.

Given how long this took (basically we had to wait for Lucas to break his own promise not to release the JB publicly), and how quickly the window was closed (4 days?), I suspect this is the last real jailbreak ever.
