I want to sell my iPhone 5c but will the sim format? - samintx - 02-01-2017

If I reset the phone to "original" settings does that wipe the sim card or how do I do that? Home button and On/Off switch?

Just remove it.

keep the sim

there's nothing on it your phone can delete
think of it as a key to your account - you don't want anyone using it

Shouldn't you sell the phone with at least a blank sim card? will it fit in a micro SD card thing and fit in my computer?

Come to think of it, when I bought it I had to have an AT&T sim card because that was my carrier.

Yes, the buyer will get their own SIM card when they sign up for service.

when you buy a sim-free phone it has no sim

....if you plan to keep your current number, you have to keep the old sim to put in your new cell phone....if you don't, still toss as you don't want someone else having it.....

THanks for the help…ALL. I guess I didn't realize till now the sims were carrier specific. Learn something everyday. I'm not really into cells. Have a new number/carrier and a 6 so don't need the 5c anymore.
