Off to our first Broadway show! - sekker - 02-03-2017 Work landed me in NY this week. Lovely wife came along and we are off to see Wicked! Posting from the infamous New York subway! Looking forward to it. Re: Off to our first Broadway show! - vision63 - 02-03-2017 Wicked is AWESOME!!!!!!! Re: Off to our first Broadway show! - Microman - 02-03-2017 I saw it years ago, with Idina Menzel, and Chenoweth..... I am pretty cheap, and never spend to much without much thinking.... At intermission, it is right after Idina is raised up 20-30 feet, and ends the song DEFYING GRAVITY with a great oh-oh -ohhhhhhhhhh. And I just loved it., I stood up, without telling the wife where I was going, and came back with the CD. It was truly a fun night. Also saw RENT there with the original cast. Also great. Out Tonight, my favorite song, in that one. Re: Off to our first Broadway show! - SteveG - 02-04-2017 Remember, no singing along. This is not your living room. Re: Off to our first Broadway show! - NewtonMP2100 - 02-04-2017 ......no......Sunset Boulevard......???? Re: Off to our first Broadway show! - 3d - 02-04-2017 Not a bad seat in the house at the Gershwin. No late arrivals. No exceptions. The line for the women's bathroom can be very long and slow. Plan accordingly. Re: Off to our first Broadway show! - vision63 - 02-04-2017 3d wrote: Bring a pee bottle. Re: Off to our first Broadway show! - SKYLANE - 02-04-2017 WICKED?!?!? Seen 5 times! Can't wait to see it again! She was super offended when everyone told her to stop. It was doubly infuriating because a local singer had been chosen to sing the song and the audience really wanted to hear HER. |
