personal finance manager - Fritz - 02-04-2017

browsing MacUpdate, as I sometimes do, to see what up.
I stumbled on Bantivity (fkn iBank), which we've seen before and still gets mediocre reviews.

But also this one: iCompta, that has lots of very good reviews.
Looks good on their site. And is on sale for 50%, $15. The developer is French.
But ..... anyone try or use it?

I like MoneyDance that I have been using since Intuit pissed me off a few years back, but it ain't great and they have been slow to make necessary improvements, like better reports and search .... hello?
Though I haven't tried 2017.2 yet.

i've been using MD for a few years and recently upgraded to 2017. my needs are simple so it does what i want for the most part. don't have the energy at this point to learn and futz with another program.

As bad as Intuit is, I still can't beat Quicken. And I own most of the others, even LiquidLedger, the obscure one.
