Use android earphones on iPhone? - anonymouse1 - 02-12-2017

Is there any generally accepted wisdom on whether earphones made for Android can work on an iPhone, beyond just listening and talking, for using the buttons to adjust volume, pause play, etc.

There are some B&) earphones that LG gave away as a promotion, and I can pick them up on eBay for literally half the price of the iPhone ones.....

Thanks.

I like Jaybirds. I have the X3. I also have some Jabra Rox (that I've nearly torn up).

As much as I like my HTC One M9, the headphones that came with it are meh. I use the headphones that came with my Nano.
