No "repair permissions" on Safari? - h linamen - 02-26-2017 About two months ago I got a new 27" iMac with Safari (previously used snow leopard). Yesterday I decided to repair permissions in the disk utility. It isn't there. Anywhere else or is that old school? It's handled in the background, automatically by the core services @ various intervals. Various times when my computer was having problems, repair permissions corrected the problems and that is confirmed by numerous folks. Why else was it there if it was useless in prior systems?
