Some may remember that Radio Shack originally was a subsidiary of Tandy Leather.
They are still around, wrecking havoc upon remaining reindeer.

I had forgotten about Tandy. Their catalog has a page on leatherwork, which was pretty popular back in the fifties-early sixties. IIRC, one of my junior high shop classes was a tourtured-looking leather wallet.

I remember Radio Shack selling "TRS" branded computers (or at least model numbers): Tandy Radio Shack.
