Tramontina non-stick pans on sale. Are these the "good" ones? 3 for $22. - 3d - 02-17-2018 Tramontina non-stick pans on sale. Are these the "good" ones? 3 for $22. Costco has these pans for sale this month. I remember there was some talk about good/bad modern non-stick pans. I guess for $22 for a set of 3 it's worth a shot. No lids. Are these the "good" ones? 3 for $22. - Robert M - 02-17-2018 3d, Tramontina is reputable. Grab them. Even if they aren't as good as a higher quality pan from a bigger name manufacturer, at that price, it won't matter. They'll still the job nicely. If, after a while, you don't like the pans, donate or give them away,. You'll have gotten your money's worth. My only issue is the difference between the 8" and the 10" is minimal. Either will do the job of the other. Same goes for the 10" and 12". The difference between the 8" and the 12" would be a noticeable difference. Still, though, for $22, how can you go wrong? BTW, a key feature that really makes them worth the bucks and then some: dishwasher-safe. I'd by them just because of that feature! That they are oven safe to 350 is a bonus! They'd be a good deal at full price. Robert Re: Tramontina non-stick pans on sale. Are these the "good" ones? 3 for $22. - OWC Jamie - 02-17-2018 I would prefer a clad or disc bottom pan without the Teflon and covers but if you're looking for a aluminum coated pan these get good reviews and that's a good price. Just keep an eye on the teflon coating. expect three to five years on the coating if you never over heat it or scratch the hell out of it with metal utensils. Re: Tramontina non-stick pans on sale. Are these the "good" ones? 3 for $22. - tronnei - 02-17-2018 We have those pans and they are fine. No different than any other pans as far as durability. Re: Tramontina non-stick pans on sale. Are these the "good" ones? 3 for $22. - rz - 02-17-2018 When it comes to cookware, if it says "Made in China" on it, we will not buy it. Took a long time to find a wok that wasn't made in China. Finally found one made in Italy. Re: Tramontina non-stick pans on sale. Are these the "good" ones? 3 for $22. - mattkime - 02-17-2018 I thing its worth it to pay a little more for a good nonstick pan. Good reviews here - https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-nonstick-pan/ Maybe they're better than in the past, i've had cheap ones start to peel pretty quickly. Re: Tramontina non-stick pans on sale. Are these the "good" ones? 3 for $22. - jdc - 02-17-2018 Not sure I could use the word "good" for a $7 pan. Maybe "disposable". ![]() FWIW, we have those same pans from costco, they work fine. Silicon handle has come loose on one, but not a biggie. The non-stick part is still good, no scratches. Re: Tramontina non-stick pans on sale. Are these the "good" ones? 3 for $22. - 3d - 02-17-2018 Yeah, we needed to replace a non-stick fry pan so theses totally fit the bill. For the price, it's a no-brainer. I was just wondering if these are a "great price" or a "steal". In which case, I'd grab another set as backups. We can always just return them to Costco if they don't pan out. FYI: Cookware vessels proudly made, assembled and packaged in the USA using imported components. FWIW..
