Can anyone translate old Chinese inscription? - rgG - 02-17-2018
We have these two small Foo Dogs from my mother-in-law that we are trying to get the inscription on the bottom translated. I am not sure if I have the image upside down or right side up, but here is what is inscribed under each one. If anyone can tell me what it says, that would be really great.

....don't think that is the standard written characters but may be special calligraphy characters.......

It's an inverse of "When the Shoe Fits . . ."
I sent a copy off to my brother's wife, who is Chinese. Will see if she can make anything of it.
