We have mulberry trees in the neighborhood that drop a lot of fruit. Birds don’t seem to like the mulberries, sadly.

My last house had a persimmon tree hanging over the sidewalk leading to the front door. I was harvesting three times a day to keep the sidewalk passable. The year we were between houses, I was not around enough to harvest and had a HUGE pile when the season was over. I used a power washer to collect them all into a pile for disposal.
