tl;dr
The Millers and Trumps of the world depend on no one understanding nor caring about hypocracy. Their “greater meaning” is about power and ideology, only. Got supporters? Good, done.
You can ask a fascist anything, except about their history. These people don’t seem to internalize the concept of it.
