My wildlife adventure - ka jowct - 08-27-2018 A bird pooped on my head today. Re: My wildlife adventure - MikeF - 08-27-2018 Pretty rare. You should buy a lottery ticket. Re: My wildlife adventure - davemchine - 08-27-2018 I drive a convertible and have never had this happen to me. I am nvited a coworker to lunch and 6ou can guess what happened. At least it wasn’t me :-) Re: My wildlife adventure - ka jowct - 08-27-2018 First time for me. Apparently a small bird, fortunately. Good thing I wasn’t sitting under an ostrich. Re: My wildlife adventure - Racer X - 08-27-2018 Birdie, Birdie in the sky, Why you whitewash in my eye? Me no care, Me no cry, Me just glad that COW no fly! Re: My wildlife adventure - freeradical - 08-27-2018 Pigeons seem to prefer roosting at the poles at intersections. Don't look up if you see a lot of poop on the ground. Better yet, walk away from the pole... Re: My wildlife adventure - Pam - 08-27-2018 Lol and ewww! Re: My wildlife adventure - NewtonMP2100 - 08-27-2018 ....life is like.....a box of chocolates.....you never know what you gonna' get........ Re: My wildlife adventure - ka jowct - 08-27-2018 I was just coming out of the underpass from the park and access road along the East River onto 37th St. There is an exit from the FDR there so I was waiting for the light to change, apparently with a target on my head. I didn’t see any birds, but there are plenty of pigeons and sparrows around the ferry landing and park. I’m guessing it was a sparrow, or a very restrained pigeon. Re: My wildlife adventure - Speedy - 08-29-2018 Seagull got me. Soap and water and my hair looked great (I had lots of hair back then). The stuff is great at softening water and rinsing minerals out of hair. I suggest baking the droppings at 300° for half an hour to kill bacteria, etc. prior to applying. |
