Me too, but not surprised. Not sure the world is better off with it published.

Nearly everyone in this administration resists from time to time. They all recognize how erratic and unstable he is. Well, maybe not the Stephen Miller types. But even Miller knows Pres. Trump would rather see the country fail than see himself fail.

Kelly speaks the truth (anonymously)?

I doubt it. This is the part that gets me:

There are bright spots that the near-ceaseless negative coverage of the administration fails to capture: effective deregulation, historic tax reform, a more robust military and more.

Re: deregulation, I wish these people would say what they like - more CO2 in the atmosphere? Moutaintop removal with tailings dumped in streams, to prop up a dying industry? Eliminating fuel efficiency standards? What?

The tax reform was "historic" only in the sense that there has never been such a giveaway to the rich and corporations when the economy was near peak output, and rarely such a dramatic (and negative) turnaround in the direction of the federal deficit in the same setting.

Yes, they threw more money at the military (was this even requested?) for...what? A space force? Countering Russian aggression? Does anyone know? And I presume "and more" was the judiciary, which has been the most bald-faced, breathtakingly cynical political gamesmanship in modern history.

So, assuming this editorial is the real thing, I hope whoever wrote it chokes on whatever salve he/she was trying to apply to their consciences. Thanks for nothin.

"I hope whoever wrote it chokes on whatever salve he/she was trying to apply to their consciences. Thanks for nothin."

This is what gives the editorial some cred.

If they really wanted to do the right thing, they'd resign, and write the same editorial with their name on it.

And call for an invocation of the 25th amendment.

See, at the beginning of Chapter Seven (the Singapore Farce Festival) you were saying, "I don't see how things could be much worse". I believe it will continue to ramp up until Mueller starts to return some 'close-in' indictments.
So, for the Kushners will it be the Hang'em High Holidays? Do we have a Fredo Friday on its way? Take Eric & The Company Down Russia Money Laundering crime spree? Or maybe a big surprise.
Any one of these along with the deposition for Mueller should cause Trump to go completely berserk.... Well, that's the beginning of the exciting Chapter Eight, isn't it?

Better than Fall TV...
(Guaranteed to scare the wits out of you.)

Doesn't this now serve as proof that the "deep state" is out to get him? Although this "deep state" seems to be made up of people that he appointed.
