Trump's Medieval Vanity Project - bfd - 01-27-2019

Kamala Harris makes what could be the first of many shots at Dumbf's Folly when she calls it the President's Medieval Vanity Project. Let the campaigning begin! She may not become the party candidate next year, but she has certainly set the stage for the future.

As she said, she's only had one client in all of her years of being an attorney. The people.

Her first 5 words as prosecutor in a courtroom were Kamala Harris for the people…. Strong speech today. The wall isn't the biggest problem we have, but it could very well be the deciding factor in 2020 … Truth will be key.

I have always liked what I have seen and heard from her. Today’s speech was a good one.

Re: Trump's Medieval Vanity Project - bfd - 01-27-2019

She laid down the gauntlet today. Way to take charge. Pretty clear what she believes after this speech. She hasn't been as strong as this before. Her competition for senate was weak, and she really didn't have to do much to win the race.

It'll now be interesting to hear just exactly how she plans to make all of this come to reality.

She'll have to convince a whole lot of voters who don't and possibly can't think the way she does. Can't do it with California alone.

Seems like she's not easily shaken and has dealt with media as S.F. DA (the drug testing tech was a doozy) and State AG. I hope she has prepped for debates/interviews with both sides of far-wingnut questions. She needs to get all the negative talking points out as ancient history so she can focus on the positive points, who is going to be her "Gulianai?"

The Trumpists will simply carry a sign with her photo and name. Maybe also mention that she is Kenyan and a Muslim under their breath.

Trump's Medieval Vanity Project

Love that description! It would be so good to have a president that can speak like she did today.

Re: Trump's Medieval Vanity Project - Ted King - 01-28-2019

It was a good speech for getting the attention of Democratic voters and with a modicum of message for any persuadable voters. I wasn't sure if she was ready (too raw, or something like that) for "the big stage". Clearly she is. If she wins the nomination, she will probably have what it takes to win this upcoming election given the dynamics as they are and how they appear they will be. I'm far from being on her bandwagon now, but as things progress I can see the possibility that I could be in the future.

Hope up, she’s the 2nd Dem? to use that word “medevial” after the tongue lashing Ted Cruz just got. I wanna be done with that term. It’s stale.

....wish someone would go medieval on his a** .........

Re: Trump's Medieval Vanity Project - $tevie - 01-28-2019

I've heard "medieval" and "vanity project" applied to Trump's walls a zillion times. Using them together may be a first, but I am not even sure of that.
