EDIT: these are NOT refurbished by Apple but by some other 3rd party company.
Product works and looks like new. Comes with a 90-day warranty.
Renewed products are pre-owned products not Apple certified but have been inspected and tested by Amazon-qualified suppliers. Box and accessories may be generic. All products on Amazon Renewed come with a minimum 90-day supplier-backed warranty

Really? I looked right before posting and I was able to see those prices.
anyway, these being a 3rd party refurb, they are probably not eligible for Apple Care.

Agreed! At this point I would prefer a MacMini for heavy use and an iPad for the road!
