That's pretty cool. If the monitor in my SE/30 wasn't dead, I probably would have placed an order on the spot.

Usual problem that kills the screen on the compact Mac's like the SE/30 is that some electrolytic capacitors go bad. They are not too hard to replace.

Of course if the CRT itself has gone bad, that is more involved.

Yeah, I know. I'm capable of putting in a cap kid (done it before for arcade games), just not motivated enough to crack the case and break out the soldering iron.

An era I missed. Went from an original 512K Mac from 1984 to a Performa 476 (aka LC 475/Quadra 605) in 1993.
