USWNT vs Sweden (spoilers) - Ombligo - 06-20-2019

I had my doubts going into this match against a strong Swedish team, but the US women systematically outplayed and dismantled them. The score is misleading, it could have just as easily been 4-0, the US just had trouble finding net.

Extremely clean first half, always nice to see a game without theatrics.

The pace of the game started out super high. Unsurprising that things got a little sloppy toward the end. Even though Sweden was frequently outplayed, they were dangerous enough that they might have gotten lucky.

Now they can rename their country "Speed Bump."

And the US played some second stringers.

I'm a mostly bandwagon Kings fan (with some Sharks sympathies for my Bay Area brethren).
