Believe me, you want dry heat. Yeah it might feel like you are stepping into an oven, but that’s better than sweating your arse off in muggy heat.

Can't complain here… hop on a JetBlue. ComicCon clears out tonight and there should be plenty of room - not to mention that some of the celebs always hang around for a few more days of vacation!

It is just not that bad. I spent 2 years in southeastern Ohio, where temps were in the 90s and humidity was in the 90% range pretty much the whole summer. It’s certainly hot here in NYC, but it’s not terrible. As long as there’s no power outage…
There was a fire in Queens today and I really felt for the firemen who had to respond to it, with all the gear they wear.
They had to bring a lot of extra crews and a cooling unit.

Walked into my apartment, back from errands today.
It felt very cool. Was wondering whether the AC had come on in my absence.
Nope. The temp was 81 degrees indoors.
But it was 100 degrees outside. A dramatic difference.

i have spent the last three days moving my younger daughter who is back from living in tokyo for the past year into her manhattan apartment.
and yup, it's darn hot!
i don't want to make this political and get booted to the other side but...
... what part of the planet getting hotter don't you believe?

The change is coming. The front has gotten here and what was 15º above average will be 15º below average in the next few days. What does that give us? Average!
