This is my favorite performance of one of my (our?) favorite songs Hey Pocky Way in 1991 at Tipitina's. As founder of The Meters and The Neville Brothers he brought so much funk 'n' soul into the world. I love The Dead's version too. It makes me so sad when people with so much powerful musicianship, culture and love of the people move onward and upward. New Orleans just lost Dr John too. I guess it's always gonna happen but that don't mean I have to like it since I've had so many good time featuring that family.
