I want to get Pro, and will have to upgrade at least on Mac to High Sierra.
Are there any gotchas?
I don't believe I have any apps that'll be broken.

Where is it available at that price. It's $39.99 on the App Store. Maybe I missed the special price?

I have the App Store version of Pixelmator.
I follow the link from their blog and I see $39.99 for the bundle listed in Safari, I then click on the link and get a "null request" error.
