I need a 27" 2560x1440 (or 1600) monitor - got a deal/what price should I be looking for? - hal - 09-09-2019

Turns out all of my hardware issues involve this TB2 LG monitor. For a while, I couldn't wake from sleep AT ALL. But recently, the monitor would disconnect/sleep and sometimes I simply couldn't revive it. Also, the 27" iMac that it was connected to would sometimes spontaneously restart. I tried using a TB > HDMI connecting instead of TB, but that didn't help. Unplugging the LG monitor completely has solved all problems. It has to go! It's this one if you're curious: https://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-27MB85Z

I'm looking for a 2nd monitor (27" 2560x1440) - it doesn't have to be anything special. The 5K imac screen with get all of the important stuff.

Not even sure what a good price is these days.

Any help?

cheapest, or best? I only buy Dell Ultrasharps, but thats just me. 3 year replacement warranty is a bonus. I Like the infinty edge. Also come with a 4 port USB hub.

$379, maybe kinda spendy: https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Ultrasharp-U2719DX-2560x1440-Resolution/dp/B07KGR784M/ref=sxin_0_ac_d_rm?ac_md=1-1-dTI3MTdk-ac_d_rm&keywords=dell+27&pd_rd_i=B07KGR784M&pd_rd_r=cd94806a-a8c2-499a-a91c-776d6da61ff0&pd_rd_w=ijCUq&pd_rd_wg=4sx1F&pf_rd_p=d29bc9bc-49e2-46b8-bc05-387917c341ec&pf_rd_r=NFM97QADF7R2M9CMAH58&qid=1568058818&s=gateway

Im sure there is some Asus/benq for $100 less?

If you're willing to buy used, eBay has these showing up all the time. Maybe $150 including shipping, if you catch a decent deal.

I just ordered one. I really miss Monoprice's 30" monitors. I have two of those. Need a third.

Thanks lux - those are two good ones - A little leery of return policy of the big one, but I DO miss that 1600 vertical.
