Mental health warning before TV show ?? - hal - 09-27-2019

I just downloaded the first episode of a TV show called The Politician. It looks like fun, but before the show starts, it has a warning.

'The Politician is a comedy about moxie, ambition and getting what you want at all costs. But for those who struggle with their mental health, some elements may be disturbing.'

hmmm...

haven't watched it yet - not sure what the danger might be, but I find it interesting.

Trigger warnings..... Television absorbs at least 100% of excess reality.

Some warnings are BS and just marketing. Some are legit... epilepsy warnings for the photosensitive.. The original Pokemon TV series caused a number of seizures in Japan when it came out. The recent Spiderman : Into the Spider-Verse had some visually jarring segments that caused photosensitive people to react. Heck.... post concussion syndrome can be triggered by it.. I had issues with that show and had to close my eyes and control my heart rate and thought processes when those scenes hit.

Dancing With The Stars should have one, but it should start with 'EEW!'.
