Is anybody using this?
It's on sale as noted in the subject line.
I've got some Blu-Ray discs I've been wanting to rip. My old LG B-R player takes a long time to boot a disc.
Any advice from somebody who's actually ripped B-Rs?
I think I want to rip them to >10G, maybe 5G as they're not going on a 50" screen.

just my 2¢, but I cannot find a review of this product that doesn't sound like a
paid endorsement; very scripted.
The one exception is reviewers @ Mac Update basically state run away!

Is there anything that states this will rip a BR disk? It seems to be DVD only.

If you only want to rip Blu-Ray, get MakeMKV. It's very good at what it does. Last time I used it, it was free.

I'm probably being a little cynical here but products that are offered as a lifetime license get me wondering if this is a last ditch attempt to rake some money in before a company goes belly up.

My 2¢:
For DVDs, I've used MDRP (Mac DVD Ripper Pro; not the same company/software as the MacX DVD Ripper Pro program 9to5 is shilling) for many years without issue. Currently it's on version 8.
Ditto recommendation for MakeMKV for Blu-ray discs.

I use MakeMKV to rip Blu-ray discs and Handbrake to convert to .mp4.

I bought MacX DVD Ripper Pro a while back. I never could get it to successfully rip a DVD, something the App "RipIt" managed with ease.

I may have been thinking of MakeMKV.
RipIt is some where on one of my past drives; I'll have to scour for the license and possible update path.
