Wiper Blades for 2011 Honda Element - graylocks - 09-30-2019
took my not frequently driven 2011 Element inherited from my brother out for a spin and realized it needs new wiper blades.
who are we liking for wiper blades these days? my installation experience with Michelins for my 2013 Volt was so frustrating i took them back and got GM OEM instead. maybe all Michelins aren't that finickly, though. are Rain-X worth the hype? Is Bosch worth the money?

very, very rarely and when it does it is not around for long. atlanta. we tend to just stay home when it happens cause folks down here don't know how to deal with it. i used to travel a lot in the midwest during the winter but those days are pretty much done.

Those Michelin's are an acquired taste.... ya gotta learn the trick w/ the little plastic mounting clip thingy, then it's literally a snap. After frustrating several workerbees at several car fixit places, one of the owners at a local mechanic shop knew the "trick", and the last couple of installs have been super-easy. There's probably a youtube video on it.... but if that last guy hadn't known the trick, I was ready to give up, too.

I like the Bosch ICON, pricey but they last much longer. I've used Michelin and was generally happy except for the right side blade shooting a few drops of water onto the left side of windshield. Frankly, for your climate, there is nothing wrong with the Anco brand for half the price.

I started digging around earlier this year and found OEM blades on ebay under $15 each. They always seem to work better than anything else.

I waited too long to replace my blades - about 2 years. I got Bosch Icons and was really impressed how well they worked. That said, I bet something cheaper would suffice for your needs.

The Bosch ICON is the OEM wiper on my Infiniti — they work so well I’ve never considered trying another brand.
